Équipe Sask is the delegation of Saskatchewan at the Canadian Francophone Games
What are the JeuxFC ?
The Canadian Francophone Games (Jeux de la Francophonie Canadienne) (JeuxFC) are among the largest gatherings of Canada’s French-speaking youth. In addition to encouraging hundreds of young people to exercise their talents in one of three profiles (art, leadership and sport), the games showcase cultural pride, self-confidence and leadership abilities in a friendly, competitive setting.
The JeuxFC are a national event BY and FOR youth that inspires commitment by awakening and strengthening a sense of belonging to the Francophonie Canadienne.
There are 3 Profiles et 14 Disciplines
Art : Music, Improvisation, Culinary Arts, Theatre
Leadership : Debate, Survival, Social Justice , Medias
Sport : Track and Field, Badminton, Basketball, Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Beach Volleyball
What to expect
The registration fee of $750 includes:
Transportation there and back
All Meals
Sleeping accommodations
Team swag
A fully organized five day long competition and event!
During the day participants compete against other delegations in their respective discipline.
During the evening participants participate in various sociocultural activities such as concerts, shows, mini-games, etc.
How to sign up?
To be a participant with Équipe Sask, you must :
Be between 14 – 18 years old
Be a Canadian citizen or have obtained permanent residence
Be able to use French on a day to day basis (Yes, immersion students you too!)
Submit an online application form (details below)
Optional : Attend a training camp (details below)

The application form asks your order of preference of disciplines you are applying for. Chose your order of preference wisely because it will determine the order of disciplines you are considered for!

Scouting Camp
All those who submit an online application form to be part of Team Sask are welcomed to attend a scouting camp. This is not a substitutions to the online application form but rather an optional addition to your registration.
The scouting camp serves as an opportunity to discover those who have submitted an online application form and to give them a chance to bond with other participants. At the scouting camp, participants’ efforts of speaking in French, their team spirit, and their leadership are evaluated just as much as their skills and competences in their respective discipline.
Scouting Camps will in January in both Regina and Saskatoon.
